When saving a Reddit gallery one image at a time gets old

A Reddit post with many slides means long-pressing and saving each image, and the files you get are often smaller than the real picture and named with random letters. Later it is hard to tell which post they came from.

Gallerypad takes the link of a public Reddit gallery post (several slides) or single-image post and saves every image in gallery order, in the best quality available, under names you choose. It opens right in the browser, with nothing to install and no sign-up, in Korean, English, Japanese and German.

1. Paste the post link and tap Get images

• In the Reddit app or on the site, tap Share → Copy link on the post. In Gallerypad, tap Paste (or paste into the box yourself) and then Get images.
• Share links that look like reddit.com/r/…/s/… can’t always be read. If that happens, open the link once and copy the full address from the browser’s address bar instead.
• On Android, put Gallerypad on your phone with Add to Home Screen in the browser menu, and then Share → Gallerypad in Reddit sends the link straight in. The last 10 posts you opened stay in a list so you can open them again, and you can clear it any time.

2. Look through the images and pick what to save

• The images appear in gallery order; tap one to see it large. Tick the boxes, or use Select all and Select none.
• Each image is marked Original or Reduced. When Reddit has the original file you get that; otherwise you get the largest reduced copy Reddit has.
• 18+ posts ask first, and the previews stay blurred until you tap Show images.

3. Choose the file names

• Tap chips to add parts to the name: community, title, author, date, number, total, post ID, image ID and caption. You can type your own text in between too.
• Dates come as 2026-09-30 or 20260930, and a switch pads numbers with zeros (01, 02 and so on). Three ready-made patterns are there to start from, and the first three names show up live as you edit.
• Your pattern is remembered in this browser and used again for the next post.

4. Save one ZIP file, or separate files

• One ZIP file saves a single file that holds all the images you picked. It is built right on your device.
• With Separate files, on a computer (Chrome or Edge) you can choose a folder; on a phone the share sheet may open; otherwise the browser downloads them one by one. If it asks whether to allow multiple downloads, allow it.
• Need just one? Tap Save this one on that image.

5. When the post cannot be read directly: copy the post data by hand

• On some networks and browsers, Reddit does not let the page read the post. Then a three-step panel, Copy the post data by hand, appears.
• 1) Open the post data opens a page of text in a new tab. 2) Select all of it and copy. 3) Come back, paste it into the box and tap Read pasted text. If you saved that page as a file, pick it with Choose a saved file instead.
